Re: Quintets without Piano
Does anyone have the score (and possibly parts) for Prokofiev's Quintet, Op. 39?

I've optimised the score to reduce the size...
Note the filename - partial explanation @ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quintet_%28Prokofiev%29
My understanding was that the ballet had another two or three movements and that the sketches for those movements have been reworked. I had heard that publication of Trapeze in a new complete edition was imminent.

Ah, thanks for this, and the explanation. This should make a violist friend of mine happy.

Re: Quintets without Piano
Hello everyone,
my girlfriend is playing Gustav Holst Quintet op. 14
(she is a bassoonist) - but I unfortunately only
have the score and the bassoon part.
As Imslp and June Emerson don't seem to have that work,
could someone help me out?
She needs to play at a concert at august 21.
Any fast help would be really appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Arglmann

Here's an interesting chamber piece by Julian Krein. I believe it's from the 1940s. I'm curious to hear this or any of his (six?) string quartets:
Julian (Yulian) Grigorievich KREIN
Quintet, for flute and string quartet (194?)

A pair of Tajik pieces for string quintet (or ensemble, as the score says):
Firuz BAKHOR (Tajikistan)
