Opus 39 is listed in the book already mentioned as "Premier concerto", hence probably the confusion.

hmmm, and an 'allegro de concert' does not really have to mean that it is for/from a concerto. do you think there is no concerto from Mr. Wolff after all?

musiclife217 wrote: Tue Mar 30, 2021 5:48 pm at least miraculously there is a Wolff disc with a number of pieces:

The Allegro de Concert, Op. 39, is there, too. Has echoes of Chopin and sounds like it has potential for an even greater concerto!
Thank you for finding the etude book. Etude 13 looks interesting to play for myself.
I have that audio cd of Edouard Wolff. But to be honest I only like the Polonaise caracteristique op 137 n1, and the premiere chanson op 219 that are on that cd. I don't understand why there are not more pieces on that cd. Like the "tempête sur mer"; luckily Julian (Gamma1734) fixed that mistake :-).

Here are two great mazurka's of Josef Hofmann. I rewrote them in my music notation programm because the original score was in very bad condition and barely sightreadable. Enjoy.
