detuqueridapresencia wrote: Wed Dec 09, 2020 9:20 am Ladies and gentlemen, does anyone know if any recording, uploading, even amateurish, exists of Lowe concerto #1 in e minor? Is it possible that only # 2 in A major has been recoreded? Additionally anyone knows where scores of #1 can be found, because obvious sources likewise IMSLP don't get it. Thanks anyone
To answer your question only aware of No. 2 being recorded. I would suspect the scores would be held by a German library......I vaguely remember the original CD of the 2nd concerto mentioning that they remained in manuscript.

First performance was in 2004 according to this article:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Carl_Loewe

Someone must have prepared materials and hopefully they recorded it.

Perhaps you could inquire here:

Wanted to highlight this Christmas transcription. It could use a little cleanup, as well.
