Precious little about her in form of bio that I can find. Any help with a background for her is much appreciated.

A charming little miniature by Bentley here. This is one those pieces I get the urge to flesh out with a few more pages of material as this is the stuff of which a nice molto perpetuo is made --- it ends all too soon.

Thanks for posting, Scriabinoff

i'm not so sure about the molto perpetuo concept. Although she indicates the tempo as 'rather fast' the metronome marking of 88-100 is pretty modest. Also, the piece is full of tenuti, ralls and rits, and as there is not much repetition in the figuration there is much detail to bring out. I suspect her neglect has something to do with her tongue-twister name - imagine a student having to play something by her at a festival or competition where they are required to announce what they are playing, and who its by!....

As mentioned earlier, I hope to set a good example and I am posting some rare scores in the hopes that the music is enjoyed, played, and/or recorded! No need for this wonderful music to be rare or obscure any longer!

You are all welcome. From what I can tell these are the 1st, 2nd, and 4th nocturnes. I haven't been able to locate or uncover the "3rd."

Excellent work Sir and an interesting composer.

There is a youtube performance of the Op.19 Polonaise which has long been a favourite of mine.

Chopin on steroids.
