Thank you, Caprotti. We're having a true Moscheles festival here--and several of which I've not seen before. I can see how may day's going to be taken up!

Has anyone encountered a good clean copy of Moscheles Op.76 Preludes? Hobbypianist was nice enough to put all 50 up on IMSLP, but many are a bit hard to read. The Smithsonian posted on IMSLP is posted a very clean copy of Vol.2 of the preludes 22 - 50, so I am looking for Vol.1---preludes 1-21 (presumably). These preludes are nice little nuggets and similar in scope to Czerny's Op.261 Etudes, but somewhat less pedantic.

Thank you for those uploads on IMSLP, Caprotti! The piano sonata is a lot of fun!

Hey guys, I've been playing a lot of Moscheles lately and ran across some interesting "modern" moments in his Etudes Characteristics Op.95 nos. 8 and 10. I'm referencing the score that is available on the top of the page on IMSLP. In no.8, Carnival Scenes, bottom of the second page is a moment where Moscheles went Blues! It really seems to almost be heading into 12 bar blues in the style of James Johnson's novelty pieces. It happens again on the 5th page as well. Cool! In no.10, Terpsichore, on the last page second line there is an interesting Debussy moment. If anyone has time and interest to check these out, I would love your ideas or opinions about these places in the music. Also let me know if I'm completely off base.
