The Avant Garde Project

From the website: "The Avant Garde Project is a series of recordings of 20th-century classical, experimental, and electroacoustic music digitized from LPs whose music has in most cases never been released on CD, and so is effectively inaccessible to the vast majority of music listeners today."

I've listened to a few of the tracks, and they are really good digitizations. Just be prepared to download very large files, as they are all uncompressed flac files, so as to not incur any audio loss due to compression.

If their numbering is correct, there are 157 albums currently digitized.

Thanks Allan. It's a great project. I have several of the original LPs.

Occasionally they remove a volume when a commercial company reissues the recording on CD.
