Jim

Copy attached but unfortunately not a brilliant copy but readable / playable (my friend was not allowed to scan or photocopy said work so had to take it with his phone camera........seems to be often the case with Russian or Ukrainian libraries).

One of my old favourites. I did a big posting of Sternberg works back in 2010 - now in the archive section:

viewtopic.php?f=11&t=44&p=7340&hilit=sternberg#p7340

Here is another piece from the Op 22 'Al Fesco' set [No. 7 Serenade], and a piece from his Op 102 'Outing' for young pianists.

Hello! I was wondering if you have Sternberg's Op. 74 - L'agitation ?

Hi musiclife217

Sorry, I do not have this work by Sternberg (and must admit, I don't think I've even seen it listed in any library).

Hmm..I will have to see what I can do.

As the piece was recorded by John Gillespie, it is probably among his papers and/or listed in his Bibliography of 19th Century American Piano Music.

If you click on the Finding Guide here:

https://www.colorado.edu/amrc/collectio ... n-and-anna

You will find an entry for Sternberg, but nothing specific about which piece is held...

Will have to try to contact them...

Nikolai Tereshchenko (1871-1932?)

His somewhat rare Op 7 Valse Capriceuse. Apologies had to scan this using grayscale as score was too yellowed to get a clean black / white version.
