Nope - won't load here! Can you post the score Walter? Thanks.WCosand wrote:http://waltercosand.com/CosandScores/Co ... nor-MS.pdf
It loaded OK for me. Regardsrob wrote:Nope - won't load here!
Thanks Fred. Walter's site fails to load here 99% of the time. Walter once wrote that others in the UK have trouble with his site. I can't remember any other site consistently failing to load here, over several years. Very odd indeed.fredbucket wrote:It loaded OK for me. Regardsrob wrote:Nope - won't load here!

Yes, it's called revenge for the Boston Tea Party.rob wrote:Walter's site fails to load here 99% of the time. Walter once wrote that others in the UK have trouble with his site. I can't remember any other site consistently failing to load here, over several years. Very odd indeed.
An 1858 edition has just been released by the Bavarian Library - http://daten.digitale-sammlungen.de/~db ... 270/imagesjre58591 wrote:Not a request for a pupil of Liszt, but the man himself. Does anyone have the original ending to Liszt's piano sonata?
liveforpiano wrote:The Dover edition which contains the Liszt Sonata with Harmonies Poetiques et Religieuses, 2 Ballades, Consolations and the 2 Legendes, has some interesting editorial notes regarding the Sonata, and gives the original ending.
It is shown on a half page size, but is readable and complete.

We can be glad that good old Franz changed his mind. The ending he finally choose is much more sublime than the original one.mballan wrote:liveforpiano wrote:The Dover edition which contains the Liszt Sonata with Harmonies Poetiques et Religieuses, 2 Ballades, Consolations and the 2 Legendes, has some interesting editorial notes regarding the Sonata, and gives the original ending.
