I've adjusted the thread titled since we've strayed beyond the insect world.

When saying the new thread title out loud, please pronounce the appended phrase with a Scottish accent. Not that all the beasties are particularly wee, but never mind.

Could I please enter a gentle reminder to all that this is Pianophilia, not Agriozoophilia nor Entomophilia. Batrachophilia is more like it, but Ophidiophilia and Scoleciphilia are not on.

Benjamin Britten's "Two Insect Pieces" (1935) for oboe and piano, composed when he was 22. The 2 movements deal with Grasshopper and Wasp.
