I hope there is no thread on these composers so far.
The specific piece I am looking for is Rameau's Les Sauvages. If anyone could post this it would be greatly appreciated.

I find pieces like the ones below totally captivating and beautiful. Obviously some pianists play this music since there are some Youtube performnces, but I cannot remmeber hearing a single piece by either of these composers in a live recital.

Any thoughts why this is the case?

We should include other French composers from the period in this thread - Lully, Duphly, Daquin, Leclair, etc etc, so I will be looking to adjust the thread title. I have no expertise in this area though, so need advice. Any suggestions? Maybe 'Couperin, Rameau and the French Baroque'? Thanks.

I'm including the complete Nouvelles Suites here - there is a section on ornaments in the preface.

This file was supposed to be available from today on IMSLP, but as yet it
doesn't seem to be in the public domain, so here it is instead.
Despite the title, I've used this thread since I bought it as a keyboard work
(which is exactly how it appears on the page), and because it may attract
more attention here than tucked away in the chamber music section.

Thank you. How does it sound when you play it on the piano ? In fact the "left hand" is clearly figured bass which would require development for the layman like myself.

All I do is try to play the notes printed, although it does get more tricky
when the C clef crops up. Variety of sound can also be achieved, if you
have a Yamaha keyboard in harpsichord mode sitting on the ordinary piano.
One hand on one, and the other on the other, produces quite a nice sound.
