Today we are treated to an original Alfor S.Scans of BARTOS 1955 Sonata. Quite an interesting but uneven work. I quite like the finale of the 1st movement, but the final tarantella movement seem a little weak.

A very interesting post to be sure, Alfred, and a most interesting way to start my weekend playing through something new to me like this.

The Foerster piece is very nice. Lovely thematic material and I can just imagine how the orchestration would sound.

I believe the set of 13 was first published in 1994 by Universal, so it is still in copyright. There is a nice typeset version of the set as separate files with midis here:

Alfred, thanks for posting the Janacek Skizzen as a nice single file. These certainly are an uneven collection of pieces that speak with a unique voice.
