I've been looking for Eller's "Bells" for a long time - thank you, relative!

One of the 'classic' works of the Estonian piano literature, Tubin's second sonata (the 'Northern Lights') is definitely copyright material, but it's available from the publishers (The Eduard Tubin Society at http://www.tubinsociety.com/index.php?id=35), along with all the other piano music in seven volumes for the ridiculously reasonable price of 8 euros (now if certain other publishers could find a way to reduce their prices a little...). They're also extremely (possibly over-) enthusiastic and helpful, sending the score to me before I'd even paid the money!!! Not realizing the credit details hadn't gone through, it took a polite note from them a few weeks after receiving the score before I realized I'd yet to pay and settled the account!
Anyway the second sonata is an exceptionally original work, with a wild, primitive energy quite in keeping with the subject. The second movement (of three) is a set of variations on two Lappland folk songs. Definitely not your average piano sonata!

Medins Piano Music

Does anyone know of a source for piano sheet music by Latvian composer Janis (Janusz?) Medins ?? His music is extremely beautiful, but I have never seen any piano solos in printed form. A boxed LP set of his piano pieces entitled "Dainas" was released years ago, and these pieces have haunted me ever since. I would imagine that his works may be in active copyright, but if they're not in print how can one aquire the music? Any help or advice on the subject would be sincerely appreciated.

Mod edit: Please note that some works by Medins, including the Dainas, have already been posted by Alfor here - viewtopic.php?f=11&t=68. Please check this thread before uploading to ensure no duplicates are posted. FB/MB
