Here's a piece by Portuguese pianist-composer, publisher and instrument dealer Arthur Napoleão dos Santos:

Grande Galope de Concerto, Op. 21

Wikipedia has this on him:

My goodness, 4candles! What with all the activity of Napoleão dos Santos, I'm surprised he found time write this galop! Somewhat old fashioned, but definitely fun.

Thanks for posting!

Two more scores by a couple of Napoleãos (also called 'Napoléon's), courtesy of the digitized holdings of the National Library of Brazil (not sure if this should be in the Brazil thread or not therefore...).

Not great quality, but prepared as PDFs on the site:

Does anyone have the scores of Francisco Xavier Baptista's Keyboard Sonatas or any other keyboard works?

Thanks,
Parag

Thanks, 4candles for the Napoleão links. Some interesting pieces here by both composers.

Thank you for the link. This is a great site. The edition is fascinating. The fingerings seem to come from a clever right-handed pianist with a small reach from thumb to index finger. I would never spread so far between fingers!

A couple of piano works by a José Maria Echeverria which look quite interesting.
Again, from numerous uploads at BNE.
