Fans of Joseph Holbrooke may like to have a look at two recent uploads to IMSLP.
His Auld Lang Syne Variations Op60 and his The Birds Rhiannon Op87 are now both
available there as 2H piano transcriptions.

No problem Jim. It's fun trying to guess whose initials they all are in Op60.
I included the information in the miscellaneous notes, but it got edited out.
Some are composers we're familiar with, some names are quite obscure.
Confusingly, some of the names differ between editions and some differ
between variations.

Thank you, Mercuzio. The YouTube link does not seem to work for me. It keeps telling me to create a channel in order to upload clips, which is not what I want to do.

You are right....Youtube changed something on the upload page and I forgot it.
I replaced it with the right one.

But we do already have a decent transcription of it by Mr. Titarenko
(in this volume, posted by a certain alfor:
search.php?keywords=andantes).
Your transcription is slightly more literal, though!

Oh, if I had known this I would not have wasted time in doing it.....I searched for a piano solo but I couldn't find any

Here's a slow movement piano transcription from another chamber work by Tchaikovsky.
All we need now is for Mercuzio to transcribe the rest of this brilliant Sextet for piano solo!

T.'s "Souvenir de Florence" is indeed a very nice work!
It is a pity that a lot of transcriptions for piano duet and piano solo
have vanished from the publisher's catalogues!
I would not condem the vast and still growing video and audio library, called "Youtube",
but for a musician listening will never take the place of performing.
A musician will probably learn more by playing a solo or duet transcription of let's say
a Mahler Symphony than by listening to an orchestral performance!
