York Bowen (1884 – 1961). Part 6 - Non-Opus works.
Bowen wrote quite a number of non-opus pieces - an extended list can be found on IMSLP along with one score, the Three English Dances. I only have a few of the non-opus scores that I can post on Pianophilia.

As he is now finally in the public domain (in Europe at least) I have just put on IMSLP Matthay's 3 Lyric Studies
http://imslp.org/wiki/3_Lyric_Studies_( ... MSLP406649 . The second piece looks straightforward, but I find those unusual octave figures in the RH extraordinarily tiring to play - maybe a hidden advert for his Relaxation Studies!

Rarely would I argue with Matthay's fingering, but I find it much easier to play that repeated right hand figure in the 2nd study by alternating 5 - 4 and 1 - 2 which gives the hand time to relax. Continuous repeated notes by one finger is generally something to avoid.
