Dear Alfred,

A special note of thanks to you for all the rare Paul Juon scores which you have posted. They're superb musically and virtually impossible to obtain (as much of Juon's music).

All Best,

Frank :D

I couldn't agree more! These Juon scores are a real treasure and highly musical. I find myself returning often to his Op.56 Moments Lyriques for which we have almost all the individual picees. All of his music that I've encountered so far is fairly easy to play and good teaching material. Thanks again, Alfor.

Thank you for your feedback!

Für alle Juonisten:

Paul JUON (a.k.a. YOUON)
Sechs Klavierstücke op. 12 (alternative scan; have been posted previously by MP,
an internationally known gang of score-sharers)
Juon 6 Klavierstücke op.12.pdf
Kleine Suite op. 20
Juon Kleine Suite op.20.pdf
Special recommendation for op. 12, which contains some of J.'s best piano pieces (much Brahms influence). J.'s idom is a bit on the conservative side, but from a compositoral point of view there is no single weak note in his work!

Hi Alfor

I, for one, am very pleased for any other scans old or new of Juon......so thank you for all the recent excellent postings [have been away on holiday hence my silence over past few weeks].

Hi Alfor,

I also am delighted with the Juon pieces and like Malc, I also have just returned from vacation and hence my absence of comments. The Op.12 pieces are by far the most interesting of the Juon pieces seen so far and nice to see that he could write pieces of this caliber. Sounds a bit more like Schumann to my ears, and a most excellent set of pieces.

Yes, Schumann influence especially in No.2 Canzona and Brahms in No. 1 Capriccio and No.6 Ballade. Also a bit of Chopin in No.4 Etude.

Also of a fine pianistic calibre:
Praeludien und Capricen op. 26
