A little piece by Herbert Dennison. Can not find any biographical information, beyond he composed light pieces during the 1920s & 1930s. Mention of an Opus 2 & 3 on the back cover. There is a recording on YouTube by one of our esteemed members of Pianophilia.

Thank you for this piece.
I read that :
Herbert Dennison, pseud, of Ralph Williams.
Williams, Ralph, composer and publisher, member of firm of Joseph Williams Ltd. since 1898, composed educational piano music under the nom-de-plume Herbert Dennison; b. 1882; d. Feb. 3, 1948.

In fact a well-known music publisher. One of his bestsellers was an
„Analytical Editon“ of Beethoven's Piano Sonatas, edited by Steward MACPHERSON.
First edition appeared in 1909-13.

Re: Music from the British Isles
Especially for Tim....the last of my latest batch of British music scans (and for those interested, something Russian coming over the weekend).
Percy Eastman Fletcher (1879-1932). Some of his works are on IMSLP and a few have been posted here. Was surprised this hasn't been posted before on either site (unless I missed it) !
Was taken from an old and tatty photocopy....have tried to clean it up as I scanned.

Re: Music from the British Isles
Thank you Malcolm - much appreciated!
I'll be scanning some miscellaneous English oddments in the
coming weeks. Hopefully they'll be openable, but if not, this
may be due to incompatibility between my creaky old set up
and much newer ones at the receiving end.

Re: Music from the British Isles
York Bowen (1884-1961) – is fairly well served on IMSLP, althought here are a number of piano works missing from that catalogue. I will over the next month or two try to fill some of those gaps with works I currently hold in my collection and not been re-published.
First those works between Op 1 - 30 (I have stated those that are available on IMSLP). Those with ? are likely held through the Royal Academy of Music, unless held by other members.
