A well-written piece, deeply rooted in the 19th century, but nevertheless fun (and recreation) to play!!

You may not want to have this here as I would imagine (without looking at it) that this is by the British composer Antony Hopkins
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antony_Hopkins who is happily still with us (at 90), and was once very well known in the UK for a long-running series of radio broadcasts called 'Talking about Music', which I used to listen to as a schoolboy.
