I have the score of the Tchaikovsky Symphony No.6 in the piano transcription (1927) by Walter Niemann.
This has also been recorded by Chitose Okashiro on a Pro Piano disc that was recorded in 1999, which I also have.
I have checked the Pro Piano site, and it is still available.
The reason for this note is that I would like to know if this score is needed, or have you got it already.

liveforpiano: Thank you for your offer and for your self-introduction on viewtopic.php?f=11&t=68&start=430#p4290. It is very moving to have you among us pianophiliacs with all your experience of 73 years. As Niemann's Tchaikovsky 2H transcription was edited in Peters popular green series, so this item more or less counts as some kind of main stream.

One of our most active and sympathetic members, Walter Cosand, has a phantastic online archive, see http://waltercosand.com/CosandScores/. Greetings and acknowledgements to him! In cases like this, you might have a look there. I. e. normally - at the moment, I could not find this work there ...

Thank you for your kind message kh0815. I have been downloading from this site for a while now, but have decided it is time to give back for all the wonderful scores I have been downloading. Since I have now discovered how to scan scores without them being so large as to make them difficult to send, I shall be sending some of the music that I have gathered over the years. Unfortunately I have no Niemann that would help to fill in the gaps, which I work out to be about 95 opus numbers, but hope to send some interesting score. My thanks to you all for your generous sharing. liveforpiano.

Just an idea - post a note asking if something has already been scanned before you actually scan it. It would be a pity to duplicate effort unnecessarily! :)

Thanks Rob,
I will keep that in mind.

I have scanned the Piano Sonata of Louis Campbell-Tipton (1877-1921) and sent it to Malcolm to put on the site, but I will ask in future.

I am afraid it does. However your copy is a better printing, and does not have as many mistakes as my copy.
