And a very good -- as one might expect -- article on Mosolov by Kholopov, that genius analyst of 20th-C harmony. Previously the only really good historian to write about Mosolov was the excellent (and, I hope, still with us) Inna Barsova. Since then, a book has appeared in Russia, didn't buy it last time, baggage allowance didn't permit.

Great to see another recording of yours! On topic, is the Sabaneyev piano sonata ever going to make it to disk? His works are slowly trickling on to CDs it seems. The trios were released recently, and now this. Great to see.

Was thinking about the Sonata recently. Once played it from memory in London. Can't quite imagine what came over me to memorise a piece like that. Might look at the other stuff and make a selection. Recording K. Eiges soon, though ...

I wish the guys over there had played more rare transcriptions. The executants of Husum present stupendous piano rarities, but not enough rare transcriptions.... :cry: :oops:
