I understand Tcherepnin had written a piano exercise book based on pentatonic scales. I vaguely remember it is from Peters Edition. Is there a scanned copy around??

I was cleaning my old bookmarks and deleting dead links (OMG, how many of them are now dead!) and found link for one Russian site with scores of Gavriil Popov, Roslavets and Mosolov.
