Wilhelm Maria Puchtler (1848-1881) Romanze für Pianoforte Op.7 (1879)

http://digital.staatsbibliothek-berlin. ... 20puchtler

Individual images; the note says that a pdf will be available later.

While searching for his exquisite Liebeslied from Charakterstudien Op.41, a recording of which Alfor so kindly posted (viewtopic.php?p=19938#p19938), I came across this Romance. The BL has the Op.41, but when I filled out the request form, it said, "Not available". One of the German libraries must have it.

Alfred thanks for posting this lovely Puchtler Romance. It is very well written and a joy to play. I think we need more Puchtler in our lives.

Weber
Selected Piano Works Vol. II

Contains some well-fingered classics (though rarely played today)
and Henselt's (pre-Godowskyan) arrangement of the Rondo from op. 24.

Very nice edition, Alfred. Seldom played for sure, in fact I have never seen/heard a Weber piece in concert. That Rondo does ring a bell, however, so went searching for Godowsky's version and got totally distracted when I found that he published a facsimile edition of Messiah---and so it goes....very easy to get sidetracked. But now having much fun with these forgotten Weber pieces.

Thanks for posting this excellent edition.
