Roy Agnew (well represented on the Cislowska discs) has numerous pieces available online in PDF form through the National Library of Australia site.

Other composers' works may be found by simple adjustment to the search parameters. Searching on Hutchens located his much-simplified transcription of the Beethoven Pastoral Symphony per the Stokowski/Disney Fantasia http://www.nla.gov.au/apps/doview/nla.mus-vn83308-p

Peggy Glanville-Hicks: Melbourne-born pupil of Vaughan Williams, close friend of Paul Bowles, and colleague of Virgil Thomson had a most international career until she returned to Australia for her final years after surgery for a brain tumour ended her composing career.

I became aware of her through a TV documentary in the 1990s and subsequently discovered I'd lived about 100m from her house in Sydney. Her professional contemporaries thought very highly of her, refusing to pigeon-hole her as a "female composer".

I don't know if she wrote any other solo piano works. Her Etruscan concerto for piano and chamber orchestra has been recorded by Keith Jarrett. She also orchestrated Satie's Gymnopedies.

Since all 85 TV Channels I have are infested with Weddings, I thought I would take the opportunity to start updating me inventory and indeed I found this in one of my "B" boxes.

Not wishing to get flamed by His Royal Fredness, I have checked to see if this is currently available and indeed it is out of print.

Must get some sleep now as Willie wants me at the Cathedral sharp on time.

Thal! Thank you so much for the Arthur Benjamin - wonderful composer - and this was on my list to grab @ Westminster.

Thal,
Congrats on your wedding ..
I must have missed it - (maybe it wasn't banned?)
I don't have 85 channels, but on the few (bands) I do have - I did notice something vaguely matrimonial.
Was that you?

I do not expect a reply as I am sure you will be very busy tonight...
Again,
Congrats.

Lito, and indeed all members, please add nms (not my scan) and perhaps also tttos (thanks to the original scanner) to posts such as this when recirculating scores that are not your own scans. I have also removed a major scan of my own from this post.

Roger Smalley has his Morceau de concours available for download from his web site: http://www.rogersmalley.com/news.htm

It's a solo piano piece commissioned for the Sydney International Piano Competition 2008.

fhimpsl wrote:Hello All, I recently uncovered a score by Australian-born composer George F. Boyle (1886-1948); his Serenade from "Four Compositions For PIano." Not knowing anything about Boyle, a quick web search turned up the following information from the National Library Of Australia:
There's now a disc of Boyle's music (world premiere recordings), with very short samples : http://www.melbarecordings.com.au/catal ... rick-boyle
