Thank you for the Weisman, Alfred. A lovely little sciciiano lies therein.

Alfred, I think the other members are busy playing the over 1000+ scores you've posted. That's what I'm doing!

Re: Composers from Germany [Misc]
Speaking for myself: mostly I don't immediately have the time to even look at the scores posted. I have a few minutes to download them for later use, in the weekend or a day off. It happens to me lots of times that I went searching for a certain piece of a certain composer, only to find out that it was already for one or two years on my hard-drive and it happened to be a scan by Alfor (you can tell by the quality of the scan). At that time it would be odd to add a reply to the score once posted, so there is silence. But that doesn't mean that there is no appreciation of the posts, just the way things go (in my case, and probably it is the same for others too). We are very grateful for the beautiful scans of much material that is very worthwhile. And so we also appreciate the time Fleubis takes to say everytime what we all feel. Thank you both!fleubis wrote:Alfred, I think the other members are busy playing the over 1000+ scores you've posted. That's what I'm doing!

Here is an etude by the prolific Wilhelm Krüger, courtesy of the BNE digitised collection.
Not great quality scan, but perfectly legible.

Thanks for the Krüger, 4C. This is only the 2nd piece of this composer I've found in my library and does sound very reminiscent of Paganini, but cannot place it.
Thanks for posting!

Yes, "Le Mouvement Perpetuel de Paganini' but I'm looking through Paganini's scores now trying to trace the source.
edit: And we would seem that Paganini's piece is called just that: Perpetual Motion
