Continuing the Ruthardt/IMSLP theme, his Dur und Moll is another excellent
scan by Afp0815. It consists of 24 little studies through all the keys. Nice!

Thanks Timtin. Also just up on IMSLP are the Op.48 Etudes and the Op.50 Etudes of Ruthardt.

Here's a little capsule of the scores from Alfor's latest audio post of Reger played by Richard Laugs. (Reger ohne Opuszahl Laugs). All from IMSLP gathered in one file.

Julius WEISMANN
Traumspiele op. 76
You can actually order this piece from the Austrian publisher „Musik-Verlag Kral“
who reissued quite a couple of interesting works - who can shut up shop when
nobody is willing to spend money on scores.

Much thanks for your recent postings, Alfred. The Weismann is a real find. These pieces are very well written for the piano and in a most pleasing idiom. Most excellent! For shame that such beautiful music lays dormant for so long as it makes one realize (again!) at just how small the "standard repetoire" really is.

How very wonderful, Alfred. You have given us the 2nd Weismann volume of 48. These are nice little pieces and nice to be able to play the while looking into my own garden.
Thanks for posting!
