Here's yet another. Again, stylistically, it sits perfectly within the
concerto it's written for imho. (Other cadenza-writers should take note!)

This is another short (but perfect, imho) cadenza by
you-know-who for you-know-who's 1st. Piano Concerto.

Erratum:- This file should be renamed:-
Reinecke Cadenza to Mozart's Piano Concerto K37 3rd. Movt. Op87 No21

I wonder if some kind person perhaps could point me in the direction of where to find
the Saint-Saëns cadenza to Mozart's Piano Concerto No24 K491 Ist. Movt., please?
This is a YT video of K491 1st. Movt., arranged for 2 pianos, using S-S's cadenza,
played by Bruce Rose and Shirley Irek. (Spot the YT mistake with the key signature
of this gorgeous concerto!) :-

One of my favorite Mozart PCs. Until a better copy surfaces here's a really poor quality scan--hopefully you can read it. (nms) This was originally published by Durand in 1911. A quick look in Worldcat shows a dozen or so libraries holding copies.

Thank you Jim!
More Reinecke/Mozart cadenzas will follow from here, slowly, but surely.
Regards, Tim.

Here's a slightly better readable version.

Thank you Paolor!
Paul Badura-Skoda in 'Interpreting Mozart on the Keyboard'
believes the Saint-Saëns cadenza to K491 is "too foreign
in style to be recommended".
Hmmmm.....

These are the Reinecke cadenzas to Mozart's 4th. Piano Concerto.
Please note that they make ideal 'inserts' into the 2H transcriptions
he made of WAM's pcs, which were published cadenza-less (if there
is such a word).
