Here's an X-rated short story. Between each comma is the anagram
of a composer's name. All 10 composers have (or had) two things in
common, one being their nationality.

Got rotten char, golden lung, gangrene snot, vagina so rare,
lent venal gems, strange gear, genuine goods, orgasm torn,
aggro her game, virgin girl's luck!

(6,7), (5,5), (6,6), (5,7),
(6,7), (5,6), (5,7), (4,6),
(6,6), (4,6,5) respectively.

The (5,5) anagram is the most famous name here, if that's any help.

Thanks to Walter for the nationality - Gould was easy to spot, and I saw far too many Gs in the clues...
I only have music by Gould and Glick! I'd not heard of any of the others.

Well done chaps - I couldn't resist the 'naughty' words which kept appearing from Canada's G-men!

10 anagrammed composers, all from the same country.
But which country, and who are the composers?
Hint:- No.5 is probably the best known.

1. Berlioz is goer. (6,7)
2. Ain't Fernando Sor zone. (7,9,3)
3. Alas - just inane Bach. (4,9,4)
4. Janacek Roma zeal brims. (6,7,7)
5. Crown carnal Nono. (6,9)
6. I glaze Orr bait. (8,5)
7. More or German? (6,6)
8. Insane Suk root. (7,6)
9. Rodrigo is gal. (7,5)
10. Soler joined avatar dorm. (6,6,9)

Enjoy!

I have been horribly busy. Not even breathing until Sunday. Currently I am asleep - or should be.

Rob, thanks for the Sibley contact, although I'm too shy to email them.
And please don't stop breathing - it's very bad for the health!
Regards, Tim.
PS Sorry about my habit of starting sentences with 'And'. At school, it was
considered to be a cardinal sin, along with unnecessary commas, and using
the adjective 'nice' under any circumstances.

Jim Farrington is a good guy - no need to fear emailing him.

Starting a sentence with 'And' is rather journalistic i.m.o. and has its place - I use frequently if I am writing for a large audience.

The word 'nice' is usually used to be polite whilst really saying that one does not like something. It is the most two-faced word in the English language - but then I'm a cynic..
