I am sure they would have shipped to Panama, too - but it might have been slightly more expensive than to Germany (I paid a mere 15 Euros shipping fee for the whole batch!!!).

I'll start scanning and posting probably next week (subject to the revocation by Mr. Henbury-Ballan) . After gross examination 60 to 80 percent are worth to be given away to the eyes and hands of pianophilians
(and Possible Moles  ).
Alfred, I expect you have vast resources in antiquarian music, yet you are able to sort through these limitless quantities of useless "hausmusik" gathering dust and extract many unknown masterpieces, unknown master editors, premiere editions, etc. We will never see the end of the digitizing of all such musick in my lifetime, but am satisfied to know that even now my digital library contains enough masterpieces to revel in for the rest of my life......and yet there is more to come! :D :D :D And... the joy of experiencing a new piece for the first time.

Oh Alfor, your stack of scores stuns me!! Such a collection of rarities and beautiful antique version. Can't wait to see your scan. Curious about the Axman, the Doubrava and Stanislav Sonatas...

Thanks for the list, Alfor. I took the time to go through everything and found I did indeed download all your great scores from the old pianophilia. Yet your mediafire account has a few more which apparently are not in the old or new Pianophilia. (Seems I'll never get caught up!)

This is a good time to remind everyone to back their digital libraries up in multiple locations. As I am approaching 12,000 scores, my own library is archived on 3 different hard drives totaling 34gb and most recently have just added 2 USB thumb drives. Hard drives don't last forever and neither do SSD's (as I recently found out!).

Currently I'm reorganizing my files into a folder system like we see on IMSLP and this will make DVD archiving easier.
Too much work has gone into our score collections to let anything happen to them.

Hopefully this PDF format will not become obsolete in our lifetime.

Holograms? It's hard enough to enter fingerings in PDF's. This is why I go through a lot of toner cartridges and have a dedicated "Alfor Shelf" in my library. We are saving a lot of trees with these PDF's, but a few still must be cut down.
