Re: The Music of Italy
Does ilu or anyone have the piano score (transcription?) for "Non Ti Scordar Di Me" - this would be very much appreciated. I have been looking for a "satisfactory" piano solo score of this loving De Curtis classic. I also saw a transcription by Charles Voss - Op. 257 - "Non ti scordar di me". Romance composée par la Princesse J. Czetwertyńska, transcrite et variée pour Piano. Thank you!ilu wrote:Ernesto De Curtis (October 4, 1875 - December 31, 1937) .
Born in Naples, the son of Giuseppe De Curtis and Elisabetta Minnon, he was a great-grandson of composer Saverio Mercadante and the brother of poet Giambattista De Curtis, with whom he wrote the song "Torna a Surriento".
He studied piano and received a diploma from the Conservatory of San Pietro a Maiella in Naples.
He also has great compositions like "Non Ti Scordar Di me", which I have by Eddings Music.
Any other piano score will be much appreciated-
ILU.

You can download the version that Ilu mentioned from: http://www.eddingsmusic.com/piano.html
'Non ti scordar di me' is one of the items you can download from that page.
His 'Come back to Surrento' is also there.
Greetings, kroket
