Alfred, thanks for the Albeniz and Bartok. High quality scans in the pristine PWM editions are very welcome. I looked very closely at the original edition of Allegro Barbaro in comparison to the PWM edition and the only minute difference I could find was tenuto marks being placed above the notes in PWM and below the notes in the original, other wise they are completely identical. That said, the PWM edition is vastly easier to read and printouts are much sharper.

Regarding where posts like these should be placed, may I kindly suggest that just posting a link the whatever place is appropriate to Alfor's thread OR vice-versa.

Dear fleubis, you are welcome!

I learned that the PWM (complete) Debussy edition is NOT a rarity. So I very much hope that there are many pianophilians who have the Etudes and can post them.

Some „rarities“ which cannot posted for copyright reasons:

Prokofieff:

Piano Pieces op. 12 (edited by Martin Frey)
Visions fugitives (PWM edition)

Alexandre Tansman:

Sonata No. 4

Two more „miniatury fortepianowe“ here:

Dear Alfred,

Maybe not rare, but hires scans such as you have offered up are rare.

Yes, the Etudes are the remaining set of pieces that I think we would all like to have in a PWM edition, being the most technically demanding, and would really benefit from the type of quality editing we have seen. It is good to know that a PWM edition exists of these etudes and I hope we will all be on the lookout for it.

Speaking of these etudes, here is a complete performance (IMHO the best performance ever) of these etudes by Mitsuko Uchida:

I guess you all have the Mozart Piano Sonatas, edited by EDWIN FISCHER??!!

This edition is not rare, because it is by Mozart... ;) :( :?: :!:

Nope! Not in my library. But I have a couple Urtext versions of Mozart . I do wonder what Fischer has to say about those Sonatas, however!

Bitte mache einfach weiter.

Liebe Grüße,
Ferruccio :)

Danke für die muttersprachliche Ermunterung! ;) :D :!:

I think I will post the Mozart-Fischer (Vol. 2 only). Contains some interesting comments and a good fingering (better and more consistent, imho, than in his Bach editions).

BTW Alfred Publishing (no, I am neither the owner nor a co-owner!) has published two Mozart Sonatas edited by Arthur Schnabel!!

A question to the moderators:
How about posting Tansman Sonata No. 4 (out-of-print)
and the above-mentioned Prokofieff editions?

I won't post these without the admission of the authorities!
