I'm looking for a scan of Julius Reubke's Mazurka--does anyone have this? I'm not finding it in Worldcat or any of the usual haunts. Many thanks.

Jim

Just wondering if Cornelius Gurlitt's Op. 132 Chrysanthemes (also known as 24 Melodic Studies or Etudes) are floating around anywhere? I have seen our own Mr. Sear performing them and they are quite attractive! Does any one have the score?
I have just the first of the 24. It's a start, anyway! :)

Christmas comes early for Gurlitt fans: I have scanned and put the whole set on IMSLP from whence you should be able to download it once they have OK'd it for copyright!

I didn't have the attached Loeschhorn score; found it on LoC and created a pdf. Here it is in case anyone of you also did not have it.

You can hear the piece played by John Kersey here:

Parag, thanks very much for this beautiful, heart-felt piece of music, the score and the recording. It's just the type of piece I love to play.

It reminds me of the exquisite Czerny Romance in E Op.755 I'm learning, but without the glittering Czerny runs.

I played through it about 10 times last night. It was difficult to stop.

I was interested in any piece by Wilhelm Weismann...Like the 24 preludes or the piano sonata! Anyone? :)
