Wow! A real showpiece in that Strauss-Goldstein and very well done--and on a waltz I'm not familiar with. Great fun for all!
Alfred, I take great joy in encountering Bach transcriptions and the Bach-Wilschau version of the Chaconne is one that is certainly way over the top and very imaginative. I think the most accurate one is Siloti's, but still my favorite is still the Busoni and I never tire of playing this version. I never, ever tire of hearing and playing the Chaconne....my favorite Bach.
You also supplied us with a most interesting Bach transcriptions collection---adding a few more transcriptions I've not seen before. Bach is so timeless.....any form will do, but specially one for us pianophiliacs.
