Cesi, who was a Professor of Piano at Naples, has done a very nice transcription of themes from Mignon, and I would never have expected it to in the form of a gavotte. I bet his students had fun performed this.

This is the famous theme of the Entracte of Mignon, and it is originally a Gavotte. Nearly every composer of the time has made an arrangement of the
Gavotte de Mignon.

My thanks to FW190 for finding the Cipollone Caprice and to Alfor for cleaning it up--the black & white version is so much easier on my old eyes! This caprice sounds and plays more like a toccata to me and the Gardelli toccata seems more like a caprice.

I know your original post was from over a year ago, but as well as the catalogue link Caprotti(?) provided to you for this, a WorldCat advanced search for Title:piano | Author:Fumagalli also throws up a good number of scores.
