Dear Caprotti,

Hi, I am currently a classical piano student and new to the forum. I was pointed to contact you through a member of the Piano World Forum who thinks that you can help me.

I am writing about Mr. Theodor Dohler, in my opinion, underrated 19th Century Virtuoso.

I found two lovely recordings of his music by pianist Francesco Caramiello: Op. 74 - Fantasy on Napolitan Songs (Veder Napoli e poi Morire) and Op. 62 Cannetella. I am searching desperately for the scores and cannot find them anywhere. I actually contacted Mr. Caramiello, but received no response after quite some time.

I have been told that you quite possibly have the scores and I cannot tell you how much it would mean to me for you to share them with me.

Thank you so much for your kindness and consideration. I think we all know what it's like to hear a piece and to not be able to find the score!

Alfred Pieczonka was born in Konigsberg, East Prussia (Now Kaliningrad) in 1828
and died in New York City in 1912. There is a web site devoted to him if you want more information.
I am putting a piano piece on here by him. His Noce Polonaise.

Found this fine piece today on youtube, and I'd like to now, if there's been posted something by this gentleman, and if not, if anyone has something on him? Thanks.
