Speaking of Dohler, I found his very nice set of 12 concert etudes, Op.30 on IMSLP

The scans are, well, serviceable!

Sorry old chap, I did mean to do this but forgot as it was on an old CPS harddrive extension thingy.
Excuse me for being a miserable git, but if this turns up on IMSLP, pianorarescores or any other site operated by a certain aquiline Belgium, it will be my last post. I feel very strongly about such things.
Anyone who wants to flush their system free of the Schumann virus would be well advised to purchase the Hyperion recording of this jolly early romantic gem.
Thal
Ah, thanks a lot for this score, luckily you remembered it. I am also very particular about some scores ended up in IMSLP or pianorarescores which many took them for granted.

After attempting to play it, I also think that my forearms would be less exhausted after 5 sets with Nadal.

I think this Hyperion recording is just averagely recorded, it can be much more better in the execution of running notes. I can't hear much 'brillante' from it. IMHO

I think it must be my computer set-up, or I have an enemy in IMSLP, this is the second time I cannot download from IMSLP this week, the earlier one is I Philipp Etudes vol 2, which Fleubis had graciously posted it. Could I trouble someone who manage it to post it for a short while (we can delete it so as to save bandwidth.

A fine rendering of Aida themes which is not terrible difficult, but rather difficult sounding.
A nice one, Alfred.
