I haven't seen a scan of the original. There's a recent (2007) 2 piano reduction available here:

I don't know if there is another source for a 2 piano version. I just remembered seeing this a while back. Here's a link to a set of parts from the Biblioteca Nacional de España. The file also contains his La Sentinelle, opus 71.

Hello everyone,

Is there someone here who owns a version of the Schubert fantasia for piano four hands D 940, that looks like this? http://im2.woodbrass.com/images/woodbrass/BA9645-2.JPG
All the other versions have primo on one page, and secondo on the other...

Cheers,

Jeux

From where i am, i have no way to get hold of Wiener Urtext, or extremely difficult to order.
Could someone plaease post JUST THE FIRST PAGE, i am curious enough just to look at the theme, and have a little overall picture, before going through the trouble to order one.
Here is the first page sample from the WU edition, typsetted, looks quite alike as the original one, fingerings omitted.

Here's the link to a DMA dissertation by Daniel Jacob Kubus focusing on the interpretation of Korngold's Piano Sonata No.2 and Artur Schnabel's Piano Sonata. Thanks to Alfor for a nice scan of the Korngold last year.

For everybody interested in Schubert's unfinished sonatas:

(I did not know that there are that many completions of the so-called „Reliquie“ D840 - many of them unfortunately out-of-print).
