Hi everyone,

I wonder if someone could help me in the search of Adolf Jensen's op. 56,
Scenes carnevalesques. The full opus is difficult to find.

Thank you in advance for any kind of information.

Looks like the British Library has a copy. It's old enough to be out of copyright (1876), but I've never tried their duplication service, so I don't know if being out of copyright would make it any easier or not to get a copy made.

Thank you for the information, Allan.
I've got copies from the BL before.
The lady there does a good service.

Does anyone have the score for Rued Langgaard's beautiful 'Morgen ved Stranden'?

A recording of it by Bengt Johnsson is on the Danacord CD 'Langgaard Keyboard Works Vol.1'.

Thanks very much.

I came across a rarity, which is doubly scandinavian: a transcription of Norwegian composer Halvorsen's "The Boyars' triumphal entry" done by Grieg.

It's not a previously known Grieg-transcription as far as I can tell. Not present in OT or in any other comprehensive lists I've seen. Printed in 1895, it should be quite safe with regards to copyright.

Enjoy - I like this piece very much, and it's an effective transcription even if it's not very virtuosic.
