janterje wrote:Sergei Rachmaninoff's Symphony No.1 arranged for 4-hands by himself. I want to share this treasure as this symphony has been a favorite of mine for so many years. About 10 years ago I managed to track down this arrangement through an interlibrary loan from a university library somewhere in Scotland. I'm still hoping to find someone willing to play this with me, but it appears that I might be rather alone in my admiration for this symphony.

But here it is, please enjoy.

I've sent an e-mail to this guy, so he was kind enough to sent me the score

if it is not permitted due to copyright issues, then I don't have any objections at all to see it being removed.

(nms) many thanks to Titus.

Does anyone have a scan of all three of the four-hand dances by Ignacio Cervantes? I have students wanting these and I only have one of them. Thanks.

Tchaikovsky - Suite from the ballet 'Sleeping Beauty' Op 66a arranged piano / 4 hands by Rachmaninov.

A copy of this is available on IMSLP but not a brilliant scan [fair amount of heavy shading]. This is a new scan taken from my own copy.

Here's the four-hands-on-one-piano arrangement of Shebalin's fifth and final symphony, a piece written one year before the composer passed away and dedicated to the memory of his teacher Nikolai Myaskovsky. I believe the arranger is the same G. Zinger whose piano and chamber works we've seen elsewhere in this forum:

Vissarion Yakovlevich SHEBALIN
Symphony no. 5 in C minor, op. 56 (1962) (arr. for 4H-piano by Grigory Zinger, a.k.a. G. Singer)

Dear all!

Here is a transcription of Brahms op.13 (a work completely unknown to me before) which I found at the SBB Berlin website.

All the best
