Best not to, Emil. You would need permission of the copyright owners so to do.

Fred

I have check the score and am content on this one occasion for the Stravinsky symphony score to be posted by Emil. I could not find this score in print and the current printing is 1928..........so I am satisfied for the score to be shared. But members please be aware as Fred rightly expressed, the vast majority of Stravinsky scores are in print and clearly under copyright. It is particularly good to see this arrangement by Zhilyayev, who was murdered during the Stalin purges .

What a beautiful well-realized transcription. I am always amazed to find music being created in prison/concentration camps, as most of what comes to mind in Western eyes do not suggest such a possibility.

It turns out there is quite a bit of info on "The Tukhachevsky Affair" due to a rather well know book about it.

Sergei Rachmaninoff's Symphony No.1 arranged for 4-hands by himself. I want to share this treasure as this symphony has been a favorite of mine for so many years. About 10 years ago I managed to track down this arrangement through an interlibrary loan from a university library somewhere in Scotland. I'm still hoping to find someone willing to play this with me, but it appears that I might be rather alone in my admiration for this symphony.

But here it is, please enjoy.
