Superb, I have a nice original of this and was not looking forward to scanning it.

Paul GRAENER
Konzert für Klavier und Orchester op. 72 (arr. 2 pianos)

Louis Pabst (1846-1903). German pianist and composer, brother to Paul Pabst. Made his first appearance as a pianist in his native city of Konigsberg in 1862; lived and concertized in England from 1967 to 1869 before establishing a music school in Riga (1969-75). Later toured Australia where he founded in 1887 the Academy of Music in Melbourne. In 1894 he revisited London before going to Russia in 1897, later becoming an instructor in 1899 at the music school associated with the Philharmonic Society in Moscow. In 1903 he became a court councillor of the Ministry of the Interior.

He wrote a number of piano pieces - I have posted his Fantaisie en forme de variations Op 30. Malcolm

Hopefully this composer needs little introduction - Fredrich Kalkbrenner (1785 - 1849). Four works [with thanks to Mr P]:

Only Sorabji has written works six hours long - unless you play the Max Trapp VERY VERY slowly of course.
