Dear Frank,

extremely hard to find (not even in the SBB!) - maybe somewhat of a "work in progress",
there have been published at least five (!) pieces under the title "Aus meinem Wanderbuch" op. 53
(see worldcat.org or Zentralbibliothek Zürich).

Best regards (and some more Bungert tonight)

Aflor, the Bungert is exquisite!

I see that Frank is enjoying this composer as much as I am. These Op.9 pieces are much like early Schumann to my ear and much fun to play. It is regrettable that success eluded Paque most of his life, but he certainly gets credit for trying, and in several different countries. He formed a concept he called "adjonction constante d'éléments musicaux nouveaux" which might be translated "continuous musical sequence" and I think about this idea while enjoying his pieces.

Who knew there was such as lovely and playable arrangement of Debussy's Quartet? I think this is the first time I've ever seen an opus number attached to Debussy. Guess we have a publisher here with a lot of wishful thinking in his head, like a 2nd quartet and Opus 1 thru 9. Very nice to have this, Alfor. Now I wonder if there is a transcription this good of the Ravel quartet. Ah! The wishlist never stops growing, but I am quite happy with what we have.
