Dear Alfor,

I certainly concur with Ferruccio and I know we all appreciate your enormous postings. Most important, is that the pieces you post are VERY PLAYABLE, the Franck and Juon being cases in point. They will find a welcome place on many a piano desk as they have on mine. There are so precious few really contemporary pieces worth playing that these late 19th, early to mid 20th century pieces really hit the mark and their availability now makes for some interesting and well deserved hearings.

Dear alfor,

Thank you so much for the last movement of the Longo Sonata.
As for all of your other postings, Scarwenka, Juon, Vladigerov and so many more, I am amazed at your industry, patience and perseverance in producing such a library of wonderful works.
The big problem is finding room to place all the folders I use so that I am able to play them on the piano.
You give me hours of pleasure in this way, and just saying thank you seems very far from enough. BUT THANK YOU.

Peter.

Dear Alfor,

I can not improve on the comments already posted by Fleubis, Ferrucio and Liveforpiano (and countless others less recently) - I have discovered music I did not know existed thanks to you - also, I have discovered that I can in fact play a lot of it (after a fashion). You have re-awakened an interest that I nearly threw away - and I'm sure that it is due to the clarity and choice of your scans.

Like liveforpiano - I too am having storage problems now (this is not a complaint) and am having to be very selective in what I actually print out. I have investigated alternative methods - I post this link for interest for those having similar problems. I have no connection with this link or it's commercial products / recommendations and indeed have not yet got much further that bookmarking the link for future browsing (when / if I have time) - any feedback would be welcome.

My father (a very good amateur pianist) complained to me many years ago that "somebody should invent an automatic page turner" - it's a pity that he didn't do it. Technology has gone further now!

Anyway - thanks Alfor - for positive feed back I offer you the above and many thousands of these: "+"
