Alfor,I find myself liking Neal more and more as I encounter each new piece. I really like Auf einer Burg. He has a talent for creating good thematic material and doing interesting things with it. My one slightly negative comment about Neal is that his pieces seem end too early and I wish his pieces were longer. Thanks for these interesting pieces, Alfor.

Seconded. I would not have heard of Neal other than via this thread - particularly as he seems never to have established a foothold in the UK, where I am.

Dear fleubis, dear Phillip210,
you are welcome! Comments always much appreciated - especially as only a microscopic fraction of the 566 members does post at all!!
Best regards

lots of new scores to come...
July will more or less become the month for fans of the
19th century...
...especially for all
Franck-ophiles (Eddie and Richie***) - after a short
Foxian start...
Eddie and Richie are two crude, perverted lunatics, with no jobs, very little money
and only a filthy flat in...???

Alfor, time to put in a plug for Neal's Op.74 Twenty Four Etudes. I have found this set to be delightful and very useful while exercising each hand equally, unlike many other etude sets, and these etudes have strong musical qualities as well.

The Foxian start:
Dedicated to parag (in order that he spends more time at the piano than at the computer

)
Robert FUCHS (vulgo Roberto Fox)
Vier Klavierstücke op. 111
Fuchs 4 Klavierstücke op.111.pdf
personally selected and approved by alfor
(there are too many dull "Foxes" which are not worth posting imho)

Dedicated to parag:
(both opera would make good teaching material)
Robert FUCHS
Tautropfen (pearls of dew)
kurze, einfache Stücke für das Pianoforte op. 112
Fuchs Tautropfen op.112.pdf

What a treat... I was hardly expecting this! Thanks a lot dear Alfred for the score and the dedication.
Best regards,
Parag
PS: Would you by any chance have the super easy Op.32 pieces too?
