Electronic music notations

Post by Oberon Smith »

I have recently been going over some music scores.. basically, from Broadway. They contain a number of music instrumentation, I am not familiar with.... ie... Kbd.3, Kbd.1-Harp,Kbd.2. By any chance does a member here have a book or article on these new notations.. or, a site I can go to, to find out what these notes mean... Thank you, Oberon

(I withdraw my last post because I misread the question)

You could try "Music Notation in the Twentieth Century: A Practical Guidebook" by Kurt Stone.
Why don't you post an example here?

Thank you Arjuna, for your reply. I have found out, that the Kbd.1/2/3... is an electronic keyboard.. and that this is the tuning setting for that instrumentation. I have an older copy of the book you suggested... and will try and see, what updates, it now contains. Thank you Oberon
