Re: Piano Etudes
Is there an alternative edition of Ligeti etudes (other than the Schott edition), that offer fingerings advice?
Unlikely as it is probably still copyrighted.
What about any one with fingering written (a scan )? Thanks

(Not asking for scan)....... I wonder if anyone had an appraisal for this book? How is the approach.
Somehow or rather, the music dealers in my country do not want to bring them in.....

You've already been in touch with Phillip Sear via YouTube, which is your best bet if you're prepared to give him more than 24 hours to locate and scan it. One of the other YouTube commenters indicates they have the score too.
IMSLP references via Wikipedia to the German Digital Library and then the Bavarian State Library would suggest that is another fruitful place to look as they appear to have quite a lot of his works, including a four-hand rondo from the Op.3 set.

perhaps the four-hand rondo Op. 3 is a duplicate opus number?bingo wrote: ↑Mon Mar 11, 2024 7:20 amYou've already been in touch with Phillip Sear via YouTube, which is your best bet if you're prepared to give him more than 24 hours to locate and scan it. Re: Piano Etudes
Could very well be the case. It would otherwise be a very disparate set of works inside the Op.3 set.musiclife217 wrote: ↑Thu Mar 14, 2024 1:59 am perhaps the four-hand rondo Op. 3 is a duplicate opus number?
The Etude in G Op.3 No.3 is here:

Jacob Schmitt
Sorry to keep everyone waiting. I finally found my copy (sent to me by a YouTube viewer, so I am not sure what book it comes from). You can download a scan from: https://mega.nz/file/PE4jTAJC#ARpORSfuO ... SAk7X5a1Hs.
