Speaking of Bach-Kabalevsky transcriptions, this one (nms) does not seem to have already been posted :

A transcription of the Siciliano from BWV 1031 by Eugen D'Albert. Quite simplistic compared to his other JSB transcriptions. From the BNF.

Hi all,

I'm trying to find some transcriptions of Bach Works made by I. Philipp, especially this ones:

Corales(-Preludes):
"nº1" - Herzlich tut mich verlangen, BWV 727,
"nº4" - Herr Christ, der einig Gottes Sohn (I), BWV 601;
Arias:
"Christen müssen auf der Erden, from Cantata BWV 44"
"Es ist vollbracht, da Cantata BWV 159"

They are probably all from the same edition and I suspect of "Cinq Chorales et un air" (Op.81?) by I. Philipp.

Any help?

Many thanks.

Hi all,

I'm looking for some transcriptions:

- Bach-Kempf: Choral-Preludes (NOT the "10 Pieces transcribed for piano" edition)
- Bach-Hess: Choral-Preludes (I only have the BWV147 one) [maybe Oxford University Press]
- Bach-Philipp: Prelude and Fugue in D major (BWV532), for ONE piano [any edition]
- Bach-Wolff: Adagio and Fugue (from the 1st Violin Sonata BWV1001) [any edition]

Any help?

Thanks
