Yes, while we're at it, does anyone have the Nocturne Amoureux?

Does anyone have the Five Character Pieces op 84 by Rudolf Friml? In particular I'm after no. 1 Reminiscence, but it would be great to see them all.

I've been listening to Sara Buechner's Friml CD; it's lovely.

Cheers,

P.
was this piece ever located? I noticed that Mr. Sear played two pieces from Friml's Op. 84 suite, including Reminiscence, as mentioned in this post. I can probably dig up some missing Friml, as well.

Here's Joseph Labitzky's celebrated galop across the landscape.
This piece also appeared in the May edition of The Pianista,
published monthly in England in 1841.

Went to London in 1845 with the singer Pischek and decided to settle in England. From 1886-1904 was professor at the Royal Academy of Music. Further details can be found on Wikipedia. He composed a number of salon pieces and operatic fantasies.

I have posted his Fantasie on Il Trovatore [thank you Mr P].

Let me know if I missed where we have this ,KUHE are of Cujus Animam from Stabat Mater
A scan exists in University holdings at Univ Maine,
https://digitalcommons.library.umaine.edu/mmb-ps/2350/
however it is grey scaled and has older typeset and font, this more modern edition from a book in my library (still about 110 years old ) is easier to read and I feel better laid out

Nice find - thanks Scriabinoff. For those who might not know the theme is the Cujus animam from Rossini's Stabat Mater.

I don't see this here: Friml's Rêverie appassionée, the third of his 3 Compositions pour Piano, Op.62.
