This composer's bio can be found at:

https://translate.googleusercontent.com ... sg0jb4AnjQ

...or on the third page of the score. Like his teacher Boris Shekhter, much of this composer's music incorporates Soviet-region folk musics. Grachev's oeuvre is particularly indebted to the music of the Kalmyks, a minority population who descend from the Oirat Mongols and practice a form of Buddhism but live in the southwestern part of European Russia, between Astrakhan and Dagestan on the western coast of the Caspian Sea.

A search for his name will find some pedagogical pieces and his Kalmyk Rhapsody for piano (in Alfor's 'Soviet Composer vol.5'). There's also a book of choruses and folk-song arrangements in the vocal music thread ( viewtopic.php?f=19&t=958&p=34104#p34104 ).

Here's a scan of Herman (or German) Galynin's second string quartet, found on the web. The Borodin Quartet recorded this for a Melodiya LP. Here is a more recent performance:

The score for the first quartet is available at:

A pair of quartets by Mark Milman. See viewtopic.php?f=17&t=87&p=34021&hilit=m ... man#p34021 for his piano trio and a link to his works list. There have also been a number of piano works shared over the years. I've not seen evidence of his first quartet being available in print.

This composer was more famous as a conductor. I've not seen any other scores of his, but he arranged some scores by Prokofiev ('Ivan the Terrible') and Shostakovich (Sinfonietta based on his String Quartet no. 8). A bio and works list can be found at:

https://translate.google.com/translate? ... %25D1%2587

According to this, he composed at least two string quartets (in 1954 and 1969). I'm not certain which one of them this is. The volume it's drawn from was published in 1975.

Two quartet works by Roman Ledenyov. This composer's bio can be found at:

The op. 7 quartet was recorded on a Melodiya LP by the Prokofiev Quartet. A rip of that recording can be downloaded at:
