Kirchner, Th. Etüde aus Lebert und Stark methode.pdf
Theodor Kirchner: Etude from Lebert & Stark
An etude by Kirchner. It is in a Dutch version of the Lebert & Stark Klavierschule and is not in the scan of that Klavierschule on IMSLP.
Greetings, kroket

I've been looking into some Merkel scores, as well.

Here is his Op. 74 - Abendbilder (Evening Pictures)...

The quality is "okay," but due to fragility, had to be handled respectfully.

Nos. 03 and 04, Stanchen and Abendlied, have been recorded by our own P. Sear!

and also Gustav Merkel's Op. 72 - Stimmungsbilder (Mood Pictures) (Eight Pieces)

Vol. 01 (Nos. 01-04) only, unfortunately... anyone with the second half?

A black and white conversion would also be appreciated!

No. 03 (Herzensfroh) has also been recorded by our own P. Sear !

UPDATE: Nos. 01 and 02 (Stilles Glück (Quiet happiness) and Augenblicke der Weihe (Solemn moments)) have also been recorded by P. Sear.

That's a very nice addition to our piano scores by Merkel. Thank you. There are few of them on IMSLP.

does anyone have Heinrich Hofmann's Op. 37 - Nachklange (Book II) - the first book is on IMSLP, as Op. 34... :)

Thanks Kroket for that Kirchner etude--it starts of so innocently and really does build. Thanks also to musiclife217 - having a little fun with these Merkel pieces today.

The piano concerto can be found here (you have to install sibelius scorch to see it):

http://www.musikland-tirol.at/html/html ... /index.htm

I think the staff at the Landesmuseum Tirol will reply to requests.

Best regards

Johann Rufinatscha was an Austrian, not a German, although he
was born in Mals, which is now in Italy.

His piano concerto and at least two of his symphonies are on YouTube,
but the scores of his piano sonatas aren't widely available currently.

I recently updated his list of works on IMSLP, but unfortunately
we're still missing Opp.8,10,11,16, and 17.
