And while on the subject of Saygun, does anyone have his 15 Pieces on Aksak Rhythms, Op. 47?

So difficult to find music written by this composer. Even to purchase.

Yes, you can indeed buy* many scores by S. from peermusic (together with Artur Schnabel's Piano Sonata...if you like).

*to aquire something legally by paying a certain amount of money...

Welcome kandemirb. Thank you for the Alnar pieces. Most interesting and unusual as there isn't much Turkish piano music. It appears that we have the Turkish Makam system here and certainly sounds strange to my Western ears. I find it at most interesting attempt to render it for the piano.

Here are another two contributions. I haven't played these yet but they've been lying in my library for quite a lot time. Some of them look pretty promising, may record one or two some day.
